The cake and frosting both taste like a really rich chocolate cake. I think the lucuma really brightens up the flavor and saves it from being too heavy. No, you can't taste the avocado in the frosting; it just provides texture.

This cake is so inventive, I love it! What does the frosting taste like? Can you taste the avocado?

Hi Mike, thanks for picking up my omission! I think 1/2 cup of golden raisins sounds great. You could really use any type of raisins or other dried fruit that you love. Wouldn't dried cherries be amazing?

Hope to see you here again soon!

Is it me, or you did not mentioned the quantity of the raisins in this delicious recipe?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am going to add a 1/2 cup of golden raisins.

Thank you for sharing recipes. I am new to this blog, but I believe this is one of my favourites so I will revisit you over and over again :)

Thanks Indre! I'm so glad that you're loving chia - amazing stuff, isn't it? So versatile. I highly recommend trying one of the salad dressing recipes too - I'm obsessed with Carmella's Chia House Dressing with dill at the moment.

Well... I said I would comment on the chia pudding and - WOW it's super yummy! I halved the ingredients to make 2 portions I shared with Mum as a dessert. I used rice milk (I have recently fallen in love with rice milk!) and added a few drops of vanilla extract and a tiny drizzle of agave. SOOO GOOD! :)

Oh my! I just made one of these and it was SO delicious! We had run out of raw almonds but I put in a bit of almond meal instead, along with a tablespoon of chia :)
